In a scene from the famous 1953 film “Roman Holiday”, Gregory Peck makes fun of Audrey Hepburn in front of the Mouth of Truth. In the photo we see the moment in which Audrey very fearful tries to put her hand in it. The Mouth of Truth is a marble mask walled inside the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, over time it was thought it could be the representation of Jupiter or an oracle, in reality it is simply a manhole cover.
