Unpublished photo of the Annona building, we are at the crossroads with via Pastrengo, more or less where the Bank of Italy is located today. The palace, popularly called Granarone, was built by Urban VIII around 1630 for the offices of the Public Granaries and had the warehouses that extended inside the Baths of Diocletian. It was demolished in the late 1930s for road needs.
